Why should you be a Panelist?
Hi there ^_^

I *think* my art is pretty well known in the pony community, if only for the fact that my site, the old MLP Art Studio, was one of the first devoted primarily for MLP Fanart. I went through a good year or so of neglecting pony fanart, but now am hoping to get a weekly comic out as of Halloween this year (hooves crossed!), as well as actually debuting my huge fanfic saga; the Chronicles of Equin. Don't ask.

I think I'd judge fairly, in that I've been an art student for the past 5 years, and an avid MLP collector for the past, ohh, 20 years or so :)

I wish I had some recent examples of art to submit to the portfolio, but I'm saving my new stuff for the competition itself... it's mighty different, so it is. ^_^ My OLD stuff was all chewed up by Xoom when the original MLPAS died.

"Midas"

Probably a better example of my newer work, though this itself was drawn at LEAST a year ago. Midas is a purdy logo for my website. He's a bit moody, however.

"Firebolt"

Again, it's old. Firefly, in a scene from one of my stories. Doing stuff I'm sure shouldn't be tried at home.

Y'know, this was an experiment. Yes it was. How Bad Can Selena Draw. I did pretty well, huh? This monstrosoty is Sweet Clover, playing a guitar. Because you CAN do that with hooves.

This is what made me realise the MLP Community needs a comic strip. God help us, in that case.

Boy, I'm really digging through the image vault here, huh? Now, I *like* the new MLPs. This image accompanied a HUGE rant saying how cool they were. So there.

Otherwise, a great pic, if I do say so myself. Lookit the hair! I forgot how to do hair like that.

WHY did I ever fall into that psudo-anime rutt, however? LOOK at the poor thing's eye.

There was a story behind this; yes, it's part of the chronicles. A pony that ISN'T TAF Buttons turns her back from Dreamvalley forever. Awww.

"Mimic's Shock"

This is a pretty famous pic in the community I THINK. I remember when Mimic DID go that high. This was another pre-comic strip I did. I'll do a better one when the comic gets going.

"Enigma"

This is a pretty well known, yet old and ugly, picture. Enigma, a unicorn enslaved by humans, freed by equine, unsure of either. She keeps the rope that held her, still tied around her neck, reminding her that NOW she is free. Not that I've thought about my fanfic much, mind...

You can tell my OLDER pics by the fact my PSP skills were SOO cruddy. Lookit the smooth inking on that. I mean,honestly, can you beat such perfection?
