What is the Panel?
The Panel is a very important part of the My Little Pony Awards. Not only does it decide the nominees and winners for Technical categories, but it also decides the first group of 20 nominees for each Peoples' Choice category from all work submitted. Panelists basically have their hands in everything.

The Panel is assembled by the voting public. Everyone who applies for a panlist position will have a portfolio of work displayed on the Awards Website in order to aid the public in choose the most qualified applicants. This portfolio will be compiled by myself, using the information and pictures supplied in all panelist-hopefuls' applications. 5 Panelists will be chosen.

*IMPORTANT*: Each Panelist has a large responsibility to the My Little Pony Awards. Panlists should have a broad and developed knowledge about customization, as well as a body of work to support this knowledge. Applying for a panelist position for Customs is not the same as applying to be a panelist for Webpages; the Customs Panel will disband once the Custom Winners are announced.

Panelists are sworn to secrecy about all decisions they make regarding the My Little Pony Awards. Under no circumstance may a panelist reveal [especially to fellow panelists] which customs and customizers they have voted for; only Vote Counters are privy to that knowledge.

Panelists' work is still eligible to compete in the Awards. Because panelists are intended to be top customizers, awarding a winner without considering their own work would leave the Awards erroneous. There are enough checks and balances within the Awards that favoritism will not only be diswayed, but completely nonexistant.
