"Gummi" by Digital Duckie

I created this pic of Gummi to enter into Wildfire's candy/snack pony contest. I love gummy bears so that was her theme. I felt I did too many unicorns (b/c i love those suckers ;) ) so I did a pegasus instead. She's also a taf b/c Sugarberry was my most beloved childhood pony and I think that the taf ponies are so unique, especially the 2nd year ones, and truly live up to their name. Her green hair and white body could be a subconsious copy of Gusty (my fav overall pony).

I picture Gummi to be happy-go-lucky and very opptimistic. She'd be playful of course as any pegasus is ;) I can imagine her now just whipping through the clouds, zig zagging her way around and racing with the birds (though I don't think either a bird nor a pegasus could fly at altitudes that high, but it's nice to dream :) ).

"IceWaters" by Jellybean

Icewaters is the regal queen of the polar seas. She rules over her subjects in the frigid waters where sunnier sea ponies dare not swim.

She was drawn and blended with colored pencils in time for two winter contests held by Icefeather and Sugarberry. She did excellently in each, placing second in IceFeather's and tied for first in Sugarberry's. She is a dear addition to my sketchbook. ;)

"Jinx" by Jinx

This design is of my namesake, Jinx, a unicorn mischief maker with mismatched eyes and a broken mirror for a symbol. I tried to convey her odd sense of humor, her slight overbite and her spritely dancing step that makes her impossible to catch as she steals my tools and hides my toys and plays tricks with my memories... Jinx is my alter ego that plays tricks with me that I blame everything on.

"Katydid" by Katie

At first this was to be my Pony Identity but I decided to go with a real Hasbro pony. (Katie) Katydid is a green flutter pony who can produce music by flapping wings at high speeds. Her symbol is a heart with a pair of wings and antennae. She also has a little heart on her right face cheek.

"Lady Forest Jewel" by Coco Dash

Lady Forest Jewel is the highest in the Skyflitter heierachy, being not exactly a queen, but the most royal bred. Her manner is kind and compassionate, yet at the same time, stern and just. Her mind is ruled by strategy, and her intelligence is known throughout history for her successful victories and triumphs in battle using strategic examples to confuse the enemy. She holds a soft spot in her heart for Whispering Echoes [another Skyflitter], but he seems to have eyes for another..

"Lightning Storm" by Wolfchick

He was done for Tic-Tac-Toe's contest using the name generator. I had great fun with this guy and this project enhances my photoshop skills highly. The lightning is 'real' lightning from photo. I think he represents power and protection. He is the unknown guardian angel that watches over the little ponies.

Winning entry for Monika&Inger's Baby Candy contest. ^^ Sunlark, so chose a phoenix/peacock design on a modified flutter, and painted her in sunset colors on Photoshop 5.5.

"Tipsy" from JediMasterLisa

Well, her FACTORY NAME *is* Tipsy,... and in my pony games, she is the town lush... so her boring little reedy cattail symbol needed changing into something more appropriate. So I painted the dancingest, drunkenest, pink elephant I could... *hic* The mugs of beer are Playmobil, and her eye and nose were digitally altered. *hic* *grins*

"Unity" by SailorSaturn

Unity was inspired by the September 11th events, and was created as a memorial to the children who were lost. Her colors signify the american spirit. The angel on her symbol represents the souls who perished, while the three stars stand for the locations.
