"A" by Tic-Tac-Toe

inspired by: the UK rock band "A"
This custom was created for my brother, using the name/logo of his favourite Uk band, "A". She was made from a Bubbles

"Athen" by Stardancer

inspired by: Star Trek: The Next Generation
Athen was inspired by a horse named Athena with bird genetics that appeared on the Next Generation series. He plays the role of navigator.

"The Black Spy" by JediMasterLisa

inspired by: "Spy Vs. Spy" comic strip in Mad Magazine
Her opponent the White Spy is her symbol. If you look closely you will notice there is a lit stick of dynamite about to hit White Spy's head. Sort of a twisted Yin-Yang thing going on here. [Based on the Spy Vs. Spy comic strip from Mad Magazine]

"Clyde" by LumpofWire

inspired by: real horse decoration
Ahh, Clyde. The very first of the farmboy collection, he started it all!

"Cupid's Arrow" by Fizzy Pop

inspired by: the ancient Roman god Cupid
A custom baised on the myth of cupid. She's also my first Custom. Her Symbol is a golden bow with a heart arrow.

"Darklighter" by Dava

inspired by: Darklighter's pony persona
This was for my friend, Darklighter. She was created from a tattered Gusty. The real challenge was her symbol, because blue and orange are complimentary colors and "cancel" each other out. A basecoat kept the flame from looking brown.

"Evil Dead Pony" by Mecca

inspired by: Evil Dead Pony's pony persona
Made for none other than EDP! She has the sacred heart on her chest and sculpted horns, with a rams head in a pentagram for a symbol.

"Frodo of Shire" by Britannia

inspired by: the character Frodo of Shire from "Lord of the Rings"
Again another from the set based upon Lord of the Rings.

"The Gambler" by Lady Minty

inspired by: the character The Gambler from the television series "The Magnificent Seven"
The Gambler was my first serious custom, and my first successful attempt at body repainting.

"Gandolph the Grey" by Britannia

inspired by: the character Gandolph the Grey from "Lord of the Rings"
I painted his body grey and choose an appropriate pictures for his symbols. I also threaded him with a brushable long white beard. Complete with hat and stick.

"The Guardian [Chimera]" by Jellybean
inspired by: the ancient Greek legend of Chimera
This fearsome beast is based on the Chimera of greek legend, who terrorized a kingdom until he was slain by the hero Bellerophon. He has been protrayed in many forms, but most traditionally he has the head of a lion, the body of a horse, and the tail of a serpent. He also often has additional goat's and dragon's heads, and dragon's wings. I've opted for the full version. ;)

Chimera is my most recent effort, and has been one of my most labor-intensive customs to date, integrating body parts from Tabby, princess Misty, Sundance, Firefly, and Lickety Split, as well as various appendages molded from pony parts, and a sculpted tail with head hand-carved in the likeness of Spike the baby dragon.

"KFC" by Wildfire

inspired by: fast-food restaurant Kentucky Fried Chicken
I made this one for my auntie that LOVES KFC! I am not exagurating! She thinks the dude is her DAD! yup! kookoo kookoo

"Lips" by Dava

inspired by: Lips' pony persona
This custom is created for Lips, webmistress of Lost in Ponyland and a good friend. She was probably the most difficult custom I've ever created.

"Louis-Pony" by Lady Minty

inspired by: the character Louis de Pointe du Lac from Ane Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
Louis-pony mimics the character's description -- he's very pale/white, with jet black hair and iridescent, vivid green eyes. His symbol is a glowing candle flame.

"Nicki-pony" by Lady Minty

inspired by: the character Nicolas de Lenfent from Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat
Since the character is a violinist, Nicki-pony's symbol is a violin. Also, Nicki-pony is the only custom I've done with...ah...real human hair. ^_^

"Play Boy" by Dazzle Glow

inspired by: Play Boy magazine
The idea for PlayBoy came along when I brought a few of my custom ponies to my art class to get some critiques on them. After a long 80's toy discussion a guy friend of mine SWORE that all MLPs were evil, so I asked him if there was any way to get him to accept them. His reply was "Yeah, when they come out with Play Boy ponies THEN my interest may be sparked." ...I think I really scared him when I brought a 'Play Boy Pony' in a few days later.

"Ring Wraith" by Britannia

inspired by: the Ring Wraith characters from Lord of the Rings

"Rusty" by LumpofWire

inspired by: real horse decoration
Rusty is brown...... he's all like an outdoorsy rustic type of stallion.

"Speck" by LumpofWire

inspired by: real horse decoration
Speck is a dapple grey and enjoys long trots in the park.... hey ladies!

"Sphinx" by Stardancer

inspired by: Star Trek: The Next Generation
Sphinx is inspired by the sphinx and similar winged lion creatures. She's in first of command of the ship.
