Why should you be a Panelist?
As I have been sought my many for advice and technique on my particular style of customs, and have been lucky enough to make good prices on selling my customs on ebay, I feel qualified for such a position. But as to why I would want it, I feel that I could make an impartial judgement as to what it actually took to make a specific piece of art work, judging fairly on effort taken as well as the finished results and artistic merit.

Bahama Mamma

This was one of the first that I did with the stripes and flowers, each flower was handcrafted and the hair all new. One of my more vibrant designs I feel that the subtle contrast of green on green stripes with the brilliant contrast of the bright pink gave the design the feel of the tropical sea, with the brillance to capture the eye.

Bridal Majesty

This was one of the early to mid periods in my customs. Still displaying the characteristic blanket with its mehdi inspired lacework, it is ond of my early Wedding Cake Carousel series, but the flowers were of my first experiments with translucent clays and polymers. If you look closely at the flowers you might even be able to spot the dewdrops.

Carnival

I feel the Carnival was my favorite pony design, so much so that I redesigned my Pony namesake after her. This in particular is my very first striped pony, note the two styles clashing, the blanket of the Wedding Cake line with the stripes of the Fantasy line. This is the only pony of the stripes and sculpted flowers to date with a blanket. I haven't repeated such as I feel that the blanket is too distracting, requiring too many flowers to offset the sudden break and that lace work to edge the blanket would only make the pony busy and at worst, ugly.

Honeydew

This pony displays the use of even the most common and perhaps dreadedly ugly ponies, to create a pleasing and rather shy looking little beauty. This was one of my first experimentations with the stripes after Carnival received a great deal of good feedback. Unfortunately this creation was not as well liked, perhaps due to its lack of sculpted flowers, or perhaps due to its disliked pose. Either way though, I feel that it is one of my better works as it transformed a completely unwanted pony into a work of art that I myself find pleasing.

HeavenSent

This was my first attempt at a Bridal Pony body being customized. It was styled after a drawn pony that I did, but unfortunately I seem to have misplaced at the moment. Done at the same time as Bridal Majesty, you can see a great deal of similarities. They were done as a comparison after I was not completely satisfied with the colors I had created in the flowers on Majesty. This one was sculpted in the beiges instead of the pinks, which I think gave it a more real tone.

MerryChristmas

This pony was the first of mine actually created on a 'theme'. The Theme itself was around the pony that was remade, the Merry Treats had lost most of its hair and all of its markings on one side, this I felt was a fitting remake of a beautiful classic. The stripes returned here, but with a more crisp edge to their lines due to a use of the airbrush and a masking technique I borrowed from my modeling friends.

Trick or Treat

This pony was one of my first custom 'requests', done for a trade with Cookiesama, it went through a great many changes over the course of its design. This was my first taste of making a pony for someone specifically rather than making what I felt was good. Several additions were added to the finished design by request of Cookie, like the green tendrils, and here she is at her photo shoot before shipping.

Lil'Darling

This pony was designed off of a drawing Allian did for me to tease me about my favorite nickname for ponies... 'little darlings'. Designed directly from her drawing, this is my first pony that actually attempts to replicate a picture drawn by someone else. I feel this is one of my better efforts as it forced me to expand my designs to new flowers and now strawberries.

Rainbow's Glory

This pony is my second attempt at using a Bridal Pony Body, and my very first attempt at smoothly blending a variety of colors over the course of stripes. Though I have had some dislikes expressed about the mane and tail being far to bright (And I have to agree, if I did it over, I would aim for either white or pastel colors), I feel that this pony as a technique example is one of my best as the smooth transition between the colors over the span of the pony, gradually fading within the stripes demonstrated my ability for detail work and my control of the medium.

Jinx

This is my own drawing, included to give a graps of my technique and understanding of the drawn medium as well as the 3d medium. The design is of my namesake, Jinx, a unicorn mischief maker with mismatched eyes and a broken mirror for a symbol. I tried to convey her odd sense of humor, her slight overbite and her spritely dancing step that makes her impossible to catch as she steals my tools and hides my toys and plays tricks with my memories... Jinx is my alter ego that plays tricks with me that I blame everything on.
