What qualifies you to be a Panelist?
I entered the My Little Pony community in mid 1997, and since have viewed an extraordinary amount of MLP sites. I took for granted, however, the large amount of work that actually goes into even the most simple webpages. It was not until early 2000 that Ponyland Market was created, and I had to face facts to fully appreciate the actual process of building a site. Websites are not as easy to create as they sometimes appear, and the slightest glitch in html coding can cause complete chaos. I now understand the complexity of web design and feel that I can recognize a well-done site when I see it.

Ponyland Market

Ponyland Market was at one time intended to be strictly a set of trading boards, but over time it has progressed into something very different. It still retains the original concept, but seems to have developed into a homepage for myself that also includes several extensions including A Guide to the 'New' My Little Pony and the 20th Anniversary Campaign. Each seems to have basically the same structure with major area buttons on the top frame which open into a list of smaller areas at the left frame. I believe that this seems to tie my site together and give it a distinct look. In this particular example I completely drew the scene with Whelk gazing dreamily over the ocean with the lighthouse in the background.

A Guide to the "New" My Little Pony

After seeing the great need for a collector's guide for the 'New' 1997-2002 ponies, I decided to create one myself. A Guide to the 'New' My Little Pony has information on almost all of the 'New' Ponies. They are either separated by 'Normal' or 'Royal' and then divided further into sets where individual profiles can be found. The Guide also contains an up-to-date 'New' Pony News page where information on Hasbro's latest releases can be found. As with all things that are still being released and produced, this site is a work in progress.

20th Anniversary Campaign

Early last year, a Hasbro director made the mistake of mentioning that a new set of My Little Pony in the original molds may be in consideration for 2003. This resulted in the 20th Anniversary Campaign which is dedicated to bringing My Little Pony back for an anniversary engagement. The campaign contains a petition, contact information, as well as a news section which is regularly updated with happenings that involve Hasbro.
