What qualifies you to be a Panelist?
Ah yes, my qualifications... I began webdesign in 1998 and still enjoy designing, though college is currently my main concern. I'm most comfortable using notepad to write HTML, but on occasion I will use Dreamweaver if I need to make something fast. Also, webdesign is in my genes . ^_- My father teaches classes at Texas A&M University on the subject, though he will be the first to say that my layouts are always more aesthetic than his.
Arashi no Hane - BLUE
This is version BLUE of my personal site. The layout was inspired by the Cowboy Bebop BLUE CD (Cowboy Bebop is an excellent anime series that's showing on Cartoon Network on Adult Swim, though I prefer it subtitled). My favorite aspects of this layout are the left side bar (I had a lot of fun making that) and the splash page which I didn't feature because it was just a linked picture of blue wings. Unfortunately, this layout is no longer uploaded, but the site content has stayed basically the same, except I removed the Neopets link and added new pictures.
Arashi no Hane - Atmosphere
This is the Atmosphere version of my site. I love dragonflies, so I decided to use them in the layout. I used a java script called "chromeless" which I believe is available for personal use. The last time I checked, however, the pop up does not work in Netscape, but it will work in IE and Mozilla. This layout is very cute, but not very functional to show off large pictures, as you will no doubt notice. However, I like the way the pop up window looks and I may use it again for a future layout.
Ready For Rainbows
Aah, I had such good intentions when I first made this site.
However, I made the mistake of allowing Starshine and Parasol to help me
with it... -_-;; Oh, don't get me wrong, they're great ponies - it's just
that they're uh, not good at updating, to say the least. The site is still
up and it has my pony artwork, pictures of my collection, and little pony
icons that I made last year when I apparently had way too much time on my
hands, lol. I don't have any plans on getting rid of the site, but I don't
think it will get updated much anymore until this summer.
