What qualifies you to be a Panelist?
Well, ::grins nervously::, I thought I should actually *apply* for a Panel position rather than muscling my way in by executive decision, lol. Gotta be fair! ::juts finger in the air::

Ok, so, time to big-note myself:
I feel that I would make an excellent Panelist. Web design, graphic design, and simple HTML maintenance are things I do on a daily basis, and I like to believe I do them well. I've been a member of the My Little Pony Community for nearly 6 years now; I have seen quite a large number of MLP webpages.

I write my HTML out by hand [meaning I don't use a program to create webpages, and know HTML codes by heart], and while I wrestle with Netscape compatibility from time to time, I have a very solid grasp on what makes a clean and pleasing page construction.

If I were to be voted into the Panel, I would not be above regular Awards rules simply because I am the Awards producer. I will take special care in making sure that everything is equal and fair, and that I have no special advantages. I want to be voted into the Panel based on my webdesign skills rather than because I am the Awards producer, so as a Panelist I certainly wouldn't want to use my producer position to unfairly advantage myself. I have an express interest in being honest and fair. Without fairness and honesty, the Awards are nothing.

In closing ::steps onto soap box while spotlights twirl and music swells:: I would truly enjoy being a Panelist. The Panel is a unique aspect of the Awards that I have yet to experience, and I think it would be an extremely useful tool as the Awards Producer to know *exactly* what Panelists feel/face/do when working on Awards decisions. But more to the point, I take immense pride in my site work, and being voted into the Panel would be an honor that I wouldn't take lightly.

The 50 Most Beautiful Ponies [2001-2002]

The 50 Most Beautiful Ponies is the center of my My Little Pony collecting world. I have spent so many hours on this puppy that I couldn't even begin to estimate the exact work time involved. For me, 50MBP is about photography, fanfiction, and interaction with the rest of the MLP Community. 50MBP started in 1997, and while no Contest has yet come full circle, we've had many individual rounds of fun. ::grins::

Make sure to check out the "Finalist Central" section, if you only look at one thing. This can be found by clicking the "F" [Finalist] in the hex-navigation, and then the white, or "patron," star that appears.

::steps onto a limb, precariously:: I think the most recent verison of the Contest [the one you see now] has a unique layout, a much higher quality of writing than my previous works, and the same photography that people seem to enjoy. I have created two versions of the site: one to be viewed with monitors set to 1024 and one in 800. This makes it possible for everyone to view an uncompromised version of the site design.

I am so proud of this site, you don't even know. ::wink::

Vote for me or Steamer will cry.

the 2002 My Little Pony Awards

Well, lol, this is the Awards site. I don't think there's much to say that you don't already know. I am pleased with its simple design.

The 50 Most Beautiful Ponies [1997-2000]

This is the original 50MBP, resurrected at long last for public viewing. I am including this older version to show how much my HTMLing and design skills have improved over the years. For *ancient* history, visit the Finalists section. For more recent history, take a peek at the Question/Answer and Final Five Finalists sections.
