Here you will find the websites nominated in the My Little Pony Website Awards. To learn more about how nominations were chosen, please visit the CATEGORIES and PANEL links in the star-navigation above.

June 15th, 2002:

Voting has concluded for the Website Awards! Click the "winners" section to see what sites won in each category. [Winners will be posted AFTER they are revealed live in Chat]

There were 85 individual entries into the Website Awards! Although anyone could submit anyone else's site, no site was considered in the Awards unless the Webdesigner of said site gave written consent.

Navigation:
You have two options when viewing the Nominations. Below you will find individual links to all 13 categories, as well as a link to view a printable text version over all nominations. There are links to the next category at the bottom of every category page, so you can navigate this way, as well.

Voting [information left here for posterity]:
Anyone and everyone can vote in the My Little Pony Awards. This is your community; these are your Awards.

"How do I vote?" you ask? Simply click the link to the Voting Form [below] when you are ready to cast your votes. Make sure you have thoroughly looked over the nominations beforehand. I would advise taking a complete look at all the nominees, getting first impressions out of the way. Then open the voting form [it opens in a seperate window] and look more closely at each category and its nominations while punching in your votes. When you are done, send away!

VOTING FOR ECHO WINNERS IS DIFFERENT than the voting procedure for official nominees. Instead of simply selecting the sites you desire, you will be asked to RANK all nominees in the order of your preference for a winner. Abide by the voting guidelines denoted byt the "Voting Guiedes" on each category page.

DO NOT VOTE if you haven't looked through ALL nominated sites. DO NOT skim; you have 3 weeks to consider all sites and cast your vote, giving you ample time to vote honestly. I don't expect you to go over every site with a fine-toothed comb, but I do expect that you read each site and explore its sections. DO NOT vote based on anything other than the merits presented within a site. Voting based on who the webdesigner is, or your alliegience to a webdesigner, is dishonest and will not be tollerated.

TAKE YOUR VOTES SERIOUSLY. Do not vote frivilously, please. Respect the hard work done by these webdesigners by taking careful consideration before voting.

How Were Nominees Choosen?:
The nominations in each TECHNICAL category were chosen by the Panel. The initial nominees in all PEOPLES' CHOICE categories were chosen by the Panel from all sites submitted to the Awards. The Public then narrowed these initial nominations to create the official nominees. Nominations are an honor in and of themselves. ;)
